It can be useful to check the calibration of the sensors on your device. Press ENTER to check the last succesfully loaded elevation data and the sensor information (for comparison). The sensor information can come from the barometer or from the GPS. The choice is automatically made by the device's firmware. It is not possible to select the source within the Connect IQ environment.</p>

I'm sure it ever worked. Tried to get the elevation a dozen or so times regardless of whether I was on 25th floor balcony or standing on the street elevation was still the same.

Hi Michael! Thanks for your review. As stated in the description, this widget retrieves the elevation of your current location from the INTERNET. It does NOT rely on the built-in barometric altimeter. So the widget will show the same number if you are on the 25th floor or at the street level, because it uses the GPS coordinates to retrieve the elevation data from the internet. The internet doesn't know in which floor you are (luckily ;-)). The number will most likely refer to the elevation at the street level. So you can use this number to calibrate your sensor. From that moment on, you can use the built-in altimeter to check the elevation in case you are in a higher floor of a building. Kind regards

Works great - why does the widget need access my fitness profile ? GPS and Internet I do get ... but all the other data HR, ANT+, ... ? Why is this data collected ?

Thanks for your review. We don't collect or sell user data. The profile is only needed to validate the unlock code (in case you pay via PayPal). We'll check if we can avoid asking permission to read some sensor data which is not used by the app. Thanks for the feedback.

Very good and useful widget for calibrate sensor, it is very accurate. It is pity that garmin environment has prohibited to auto calibrate help with 3rd sides, this widget would be ideal tool.

Bei mir hat das Widget eine Falsche Höhe angezeigt. Anstelle 55m über Meeresspiegel wurden 36m angezeigt. Diese Differenz ist einfach viel zu groß.

The widget seems to quickly acquire elevations and does exactly what I had hoped. The reason for five stars is the Developer. I had a couple of issues and the response was almost immediate. It turned out to be "user error" but he was gracious and kind. Job well done!

Decided to go for the Pro just minutes after my download and things went great. The instructions sent on how to set up the Pro were very easy and detailed. The widget follows the units defined on your system settings. The exact procedure to change depends on your device. Check the use manual or google "garmin change units Vivoactive/Fenix/Forerunner...". On the Fenix 5, for example, it works like this: (1) Hold MENU. (2) Select Settings - System - Units.
