You can add your age, weight and sex to calculate actual value of blood alcohol content (BAC). It is also possible to change a volume of beverage and percent of alcohol in it. There are several formulas and outcomes how to calculate BAC. In this app it is standard BAC outcome multiply by 10. E.g in Germany is the driving tolerance 0.5 so the app uses the same metrics (It is equivalent to US 0.05). Diky za ni. Apka se mi libi. Na Venu uz funguje dobre. Clovek ma aspon priblizny prehled jak na tom je. Kdyby se vyvojari chtelo, libilo by se mi kdyby bylo udavano v kolik hodin budu strizlivy nez za kolik hodin. Tedy napr.: ne za 7,5h ale v 6:30.

Co znamena to sober level co tam zadat. A po náhodní drinkov pocita v prehlade cca promile +cas do vytriezvenia?

Dobrý den, přes Sober level se nastavuje základní hladina střízlivosti. Např. v Německu je povoleno pro řízení 0.5 promile. Proto je možno si upravit hladinu střízlivosti na jinou než 0.0. V přehledu se potom počítá čas do "vystřízlivění" rovno Sober level.

4 za myslenku, zajimave zpracovani, ... Chtelo by to jeste zapracovat na moznosti upravy vlastniho seznamu piti. Navic, nejsem si moc jisty, jaky objem to pro jednotlive sklenice pocita, vzhledem k tomu, ze Settings umoznuje nastaveni. Co jsem si vsiml v Summary - je tam loweCamelCase napsano "soberLevel : 0.0". Plus by Summary mohlo byt nekde pod Stats View jako dalsi screen a ne zasite uvnotr Settings.

So, does this just measure the predicted alcohol blood content based on amount of beers, or does it use data like body weight and time in between drinks?

Hi, the app uses all the data you mentioned, Basically once you add beer/beverage a timestamp is recorded as well. Therefore for precise calculating it is necessay to add beverage once you start a new one. It uses also weight and sex to more precise calculation,

works as advertised, I wish it had a way to convert the BAC to 0.05 rather than 0.5. or at least some explanation in the app

The app is a nice start, but needs some additional tweaks to really make it worthwhile. The interface is confusing (it even needs a readme), and you can’t easily leave the app and keep track of beers

Please confirm 0.5 means .05 as there is a huge difference....

it means the same. The only difference is the decimal place. The app calculates the final figure with kilograms. Therefore it is e.g 0.5. but it is the same as 0.05. Sorry for this but in my country we are used to use this presentation. I will think about to somehow tweak it in future versions.
