Run to the beat with BeatOnStep.

BeatOnStep matches music to your running cadence: your steps per minute are used to find music with a tempo that fits your rhythm.

The BeatOnStep Garmin app measures your cadence directly from your watch and sends it live to the BeatOnStep mobile app, helping the music follow your pace more accurately while you run.

It also works as a standalone Garmin Running activity, with the essential information available directly on your wrist:

• Time and distance
• Current pace
• Heart rate
• Cadence / steps per minute
• Speed
• Calories
• Altitude
• Pause and resume
• Laps
• Garmin FIT activity recording

Start BeatOnStep on your Garmin watch and use the BeatOnStep mobile app to let your running cadence drive the music.

Your Garmin activity recording remains independent: if the connection with your phone is interrupted, your run continues to be recorded on the watch and can still be saved and synced with Garmin Connect.

BeatOnStep mobile is required for music matching. Music playback is handled by the BeatOnStep mobile app and its supported music sources.
