I got to use the app a couple of times on the 255s. It wasn't very intuitive on how to finish. Unfortunately it doesn't work on the updated Garmin 265.

You have to click each tour. No auto-track. Very annoying, if you just wont to climb.

Does not work with my Vivioactive 3 Music: Same problem as with another reviewer, where the start screen says "Press Start" and when I do, the app closes and nothing happens.

Good app. Essy to use. And i like that i can track top rope and bouldering. Saw there was a way to change climbing systems between climbs but what about climbing grades?

Seems to be a very interesting app but unfortunately isn’t working well on my Venu 2 watch. Pause menu is displayed several times and saving to Connect isn’t working at all after selecting „save“ in the pause menu. This means losing all recorded data when quitting the app which makes it quite useless for me. Hopefully these issues can be fixed by an update.

It seems interesting but unfortunately I cannot install on my Forerunner. I hope it will be solved sooner in some way

Read instructions for the buttons When looking at the activity, the screen that shows the laps, you have to rotate the screen to see additional data, like max heart rate for each route

Version 3.3.9
Good option for devices that don't have bouldering activity. 2 cons: -sometimes when whatch hand moves down auto lap function enables while I'm not descending -it would be nice to remove/rearrange data screens

Version 3.3.9
Like the app a lot, allows me to see training volume, time, etc. found it useful for timing 4x4 sessions, optimizing rest times, etc. could be a little more clean of an interface. Making the buttons after descent larger would help greatly, as well as a climb edit button for when I hit the wrong number or forget to end/start. Overall awesome app!

Version 3.3.9
I installed the app, answered all questions, and synced my watch. Connect IQ says it is installed, but the app doesn't show up on my cellphone (Connect app) nor on the watch. I ASSUME the way to access the app is by selecting Activity and then an activity name with climbing or bouldering in the name will show up. But only the pre-installed activities show up.

Great application. I'm missing one piece of information in connect Garmin. Showing which boulder I didn't master.

Seems to work best oit of all climbing apps on my forerunner music. Unfortunately it doesn't really add much to the training load in Connect. Neither to recovery time.

Version 3.3.7
Easy to use app and a good way to track my Boulder activities without buying a new watch because Garmin does not update new sports activities on older models. Thank you for providing such a smart solution. My problem is, that while Bouldering in the Gym I get no Ascent oder Descent value for most of the routes and for the others the values are far from realistic. What do I do wrong ? Do I need to calibrate any sensors before ?

Version 3.3.5
Intuitive, clean and simple. Would be cool to have an even simpler mode without the grades and success prompt. So essentially just a mode to "start" and "stop" that tracks ascent and safes it as a climbing activity.

Absolutely love this app. By far the best for bouldering and so easy to use!

As others have mentioned, the location of the climb review is hard to get to in the Garmin Connect app. Should either move it to the far left of that grid or a different screen. The other annoying thing is that it makes my watch vibrate with every button I hit. Please give us an option to turn this off! Other than that, I really love the clean interface and intuitive way the widget works.

Version 3.3.4
Nifty app. A suggestion for the Yosemite scale option. Instead of 3 context menus (0-1) (0-9)(abc+-) A better option would be to display a 5.x and allow the user to select 6-15 by increasing or decreasing with the available on screen arrows. Then a menu for a modifier (abcd+-) if needed. This would be far more intuitive and easier for quick navigation.
