You can’t play it just goes and is laggy

Of course you can't play as it is WATCHFACE! It is simulating automatic gameplay like computer vs computer. And it is is NOT animation, each moment is unique. On gesture by raising and turning your arm it goes with a full speed, and to preserve battery it goes with low frame rate all the time.
