Version 2.7.0
First try with the free version today - all works seamlessly for my basic needs. Takes a little while to lock into GPS, but not really a problem. Sends to Strava as an Inline Skating activity rather than a workout, as the standard Garmin does. Doesn't show cadence data in Strava, but it's there in Connect, so no real problem. Not sure whether that's due to this app or Strava. This will be my default now. Thanks to the developers.

Works well for inline skating. It would be nice if there was a second version of the app so that I could have separate settings for inside and outside. For the inside settings I'd like to completely fiddle the GPS. I really like the screens that show the heart rate zones along with my speed and distance and the current time.

I used the app when I was skating in nature in winter and the app did not work well, I used my good old dakota 20 and it recorded 27 km, but the app just recorded 4,5 km, only a small part of the journey was recorded, maybe after a short break or so?! Don't want to use the app anymore, now I use peddelboarding as app and afterwards I change activity to skating

I like this app but the settings always revert back to inline skating when I really only want to use it for ice skating. I save the settings as ice skating, then when I sync, it goes back to inline as if I never saved the changes, or it never synced at all.

There are very few ice skating/in-line skating apps out there. This one uses the same format as his others, easy to follow. Well worth the cost to get these apps. Excellent customer service if needed.

I perform outdoor roller skating and this program works great. I wouldn’t say I’m a speed skater but feedback is fast and connection is fast. The miles tracked seems to be accurate compared to friends using other modes of tracking.

Die App lässt sich von meiner Vívoactive HR nicht mehr deinstallieren. So bald ich auch deinstallieren drück schaltet sich die uhr aus und der Vorgang wird abgebrochen

After some debugging I found out that a problem might occur if the app settings are wrong. For example if you add floating point numbers where integers are expected. This is a Garmin problem as they are fully responsible for installation, de-installation and app settings. As work-around, please connect your watch via USB and properly configure the app settings via Garmin Express software. Then it should work. I will open a bug ticket for Garmin to avoid this problem in future.
