Unfortunately, too-small text in "simple" CIQ data fields is a known bug in newer Garmin devices. The way it's supposed to work (and has worked in the past) is that the device itself should automatically choose the largest font possible (just like built-in data fields). I encourage you to get in touch with Garmin and asked for it to be fixed. Hey Adenilso, Unfortunately it seems that a new Garmin bug has is preventing users from entering characters such as "(" and ")" in app settings. Please upvote the bug report here: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/regression-bug-connect-iq-store-version-2-12-android-characters-don-t-working-anymore. Hopefully Garmin will fix this bug soon.

Hey Luis, thanks for the review! Sorry for the wall-o-text formatting of this reply, but line breaks aren't allowed here. First, you would figure out what the transition speed between running and walking is. According to wikipedia, a good number to use is 2 metres per second (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transition_from_walking_to_running). Use the following formula (without quotes): "sum(speed_raw lte 2)" with a display format of "time". If you want to exclude time spent standing still, use this formula instead: "sum(speed_raw lte 2 and speed_raw gt 0.89408)"

A great powerful APP that does allows users to create their own fields with special prediction formulas and many other things. Thanks for it and the great support! I was really happy that my Enduro was now in the compatibility list, shortly after my request. Only now do I really enjoy the watch, as I can now can use some of the special formulas from my older 935 again! Is there a PayPal-Donatedate button or something similar somewhere? I would to donate something for a coffee or a beer for the great work. ;-)

Great app, I use it on my Vivoactive 4 - but I am wondering why the font size is smaller than the other fields: The font size is definitively smaller than in all the other (Garmin) data fields on the same display. (4 data fields displayed) I want to display the average pace for the current lap; the font size is also smaller than the same data field from Garmin. I could also provide a photo!? Does the title text (size) maybe have any effect? (I don't think so.)

Thanks for the review! I did a quick test on my 935, and numbers like "11:26" and "5:26" are displayed in normal font which is the same size as the native data fields (on a 4-field layout). If you have a formula that displays longer text such as "12:34:56" it will be smaller. Having said that, since so many people are reporting this, I'd like to get to the bottom of it. If you have time, I'd appreciate it if you click "Contact Developer", and I can try to help you resolve this via email. Thanks!

This app is really good. It's my favorite app. I use it to display and record a custom average cadence for cycling. I love the way it can record the current value and lap ride averages to the FIT file. The flexibility of the app is amazing. The only challenge I have found is that the text size changed one day to tiny. I can't read it on my device screen. I can still analyze the field after I complete and upload the ride. I spent hours trying to fix this but gave up.

Hey Richard, Thanks for the review! AppBuilder 5 is a "simple data field app", which means it just sets a value (number or text) and the watch itself decides how to display it (e.g. in terms of font, font size, etc.) If the text size has changed for some reason, the only thing I can recommend is changing the layout of the data screen which contains the AppBuilder 5 data field. This data field is awesome for really specific, unusual things you want to calculate. About 20 minutes after downloading this morning (including troubleshooting) I had a working data field that estimates time remaining to a calorie burn target (which adjusts as you hit previous targets). The odds of finding such a field on the CIQ store are basically zero, but I was able to make my own easily for my specific need case.
