I love this data field for all of my riding and running as it lets me display every metric I could ever want, and use power based workouts! The one thing that I’ve wanted to include that I haven’t seen on here yet is % grade, which is helpful for pacing on mtb rides and trail runs.

I encourage every runner or cyclist with a Garmin watch to give it a try! It is a fantastic datafield with a huge set of choosable data, moreover one can customize the averaging of pace, speed and power from 2 seconds upto 300 seconds. And I am sure I forget some other advantages of this datafield vs the others. Wait, now it came to my mind that it is so stable I could not see it collapsing during an activity. Just try it!
