TrailSync gives you turn-by-turn navigation for your own GPX route: an arrow and the distance to every turn, a vibration before each turn and a clear map around your route. Made for Garmin watches without built-in maps.

Upload a GPX file at trailsync.eu (from Komoot, Strava, Garmin Connect or any route planner). Your watch downloads the route through the Garmin Connect app on your phone; after that you navigate without your phone, without mobile data and without a subscription.

On the watch:

- arrow and distance to the next turn, with a junction diagram that shows which path to take at forks

- a vibration before every turn

- a map around your route: roads, paths, water, woods and buildings, with four zoom levels

- a warning with the distance when you go off route

- elevation profile and remaining distance

- data screen with time, distance, pace (speed when cycling) and heart rate

- km alerts: a beep, a vibration and the pace of each kilometre (or mile)

- uses your watch's units (kilometres or miles)

- records your activity (run, hike, walk or ride) to Garmin Connect

Good to know:

- TrailSync shows a strip of map around your route, not a full map, and does not recalculate a route when you go off course.

- You need a free account at https://trailsync.eu to upload routes and pair your watch with a code.

- Price: 7 days free from the moment you pair your watch. After that, a one-time payment of EUR 19.99 at trailsync.eu is needed to send new routes. No subscription. Routes already on your watch keep working.

Getting started: install the app, open it on your watch, open the menu and choose Get routes. The watch shows a code; enter it at trailsync.eu to pair.

TrailSync
