UltraTimes Data Field

This is a Data Field designed to make it very clear how you're doing with regard to your pacing on ultra runs.

Usage:

- Add as a Data Field to your activity.

- In the settings you'll need a "Race Definition" and a "User Definition" (See below)

- During the event, have a look at the data field to see how you're doing.

* Settings:

- Race Definition: This is a coded text string which defines the start day, the start time and the maximum time of the race, and then each checkpoint (distance, name and optional cutoff).

1.4.0

Added support for Fenix 7 series watches and Forerunner 945

1.3.0

It's been a while since any updates to this, but I'm resurrecting it for a race I've got in a couple of weeks. I've trapped a few setup errors to give better information to you if you get some of the definition stuff wrong, and it's built with the latest SDK. Expect a few more updates over the next week or so as I test and improve.

Datafield looks promising, but after fill out the form and apply it to the data field I get and CIQ icon on my watch. I have an Fenix 6S Pro Any suggestion?

Apologies - bit of a delay getting back as I'd stepped away from CIQ development for a while. It's most likely because your list of CP definitions and list of user points are different lengths. There's a new version (uploaded yesterday) which should trap this and show a sensible message rather than crashing!

I love this, it helps me a lot when doing an ultra I would like the option to press for example the lap key to indicate that i've passed the checkpoint

As this is a data field, key presses are limited as most are used by the activity itself (e.g. up and down will change the screens, so I can't use them to skip to the next CP). I wondered about writing this as a widget too - that could have more interaction from you as a user, but it would mean you pressing a few buttons each time you wanted to check... not a huge issue unless your 30 hours into something horrid your brain isn't working all that well! I'll take another look and see if the widget idea would be something to add as an option. Thanks for your feedback and glad you like the datafield!

Looks excellent - I'm aiming for my first Ultra this year and this looks amazing One question - think I've generated my data correctly - but when I look at the data field it says "Error not in race" - I take it thats standard until you start?

Yep, that's right. If you want to test it, then change the "Start Day" to today's date (you will also need the time of day to be *after* the race start time), then it should show correctly. If you tick the "Check" box in the settings and look at the data field, it will show the data it has loaded so you can check it's correct. I'll work on improving the settings creation and feedback on the watch - it's a bit crude for this 1.0 release! Thanks for your feedback :)
