Hi, I can not get this app to work. I installed both tasker & autonotification & imported tasker profile. Tried to send sms, opens webpage but says page can not be found. Please help :)

Some issues for the developer. With my vivoactive 4 it is very difficult to trigger the "key press and hold" condition and so the Favourite screen is displayed very rarely. The tasker profile for Italian phones is wrong, the text string that triggers the dispatching of the SMS is "TextChatter desidera aprire https://”. Nevertheless if you correct the trigger condition, something is wrong in the Garmin Texter action because when a favourite contact is not selected no SMS is sent

Seems to work great. I get a notification that connect iq is trying to open a URL with the text string and a null value but messages still go through so could be something in my end.

Good to hear you got it working. Nothing wrong on your end. Connect doesn't directly allow passing data back to apps (without creating a "listener app") so the only way to do it is to hack a bit using the ability of the device to request a URL. You can dismiss the notification that comes up. Alternatively you can add to the Tasker task to cancel the notification using Autonotification. I will update the profile to do just that.

When I try to send a message on my android it said the app was trying to open some link and when I click it nothing happens. When I click the link in the description nothing happens. Please help me.

Have you installed and enabled Tasker? If not review the description and link to companion app and make sure to install Tasker. Also the profile uses a Tasker plugin called Autonotification.
