Elevation Grade functionality has also been integrated into my other data field "All In One", check it out: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/6dec42e9-7fee-402b-95a4-a111e83d45e3

Version history:

1.5 added support for new devices

1.4 added support for fr645

1.3 added option to show grade in degrees or percent

1.2 added choice of grade calculation method in the app settings

Nice addition when cycling! Would be possible to integrate it with connect IQ so you can see a graph about the data during the activity?

Really useful. Used it for the first time this weekend and it's exactly what I needed.

Using it with my Vivoactive 3 mainly for cycling. Works fine. Obviously it uses your change in altitude to calculate the slope so there is a delay between a change in the grade of the road and the device showing the new percentage once it has averaged out.

The “graph” is meaningless. It shows a _/ shape for positive grade, a \_ shape for negative grade, and that’s it. There’s no time or elevation component to it like you would expect. When you’re on the road it is very confusing, I don’t see why the graph is useful at all.
