You need to change the Bike Weight parameter to Bike + Rider Weight, i.e remove the bike weight limit of 30kg. Then it may be a good approximate. It displayed a Cda of 20 going slowly up a long 7% hill. Probably the algorithm thinks I put in 300w to lift 9.5kg (bike weight) and nearly everything else is aerodynamic drag.

In Garmin express, once app is installed if you click on the small 3 dot on gray icon after the letters CdA you get to the settings which can then be adjusted and saved. Seems to work fine on my 520. Now looking forward to trying out the app

I'm really enjoying this on my Cervelo S5. I can 'see' the delta between heads up, heads down, hands on brake hoods and hands in the drops. You can also tell just how slope and wind affect your CdA.

The "Contact Developer" link is not working...so I will ask the following question here.
In the description it states that several parameters are "To be configured via Garmin Connect/Garmin Express". How is this supposed to be done? I was unable to find anyway to do this. Thanks!
"To be configured via Garmin Connect/Garmin Express:
Average (s) - Default 10s, the sample length that you wish to smooth the output
Bike Weight (kg) - Bike weight in kg
rho (kg/m^3) - Air pressure.
Coefficient of rolling resistance - rolling resistance of your wheels
Drivetrain efficiency - The overall efficiency of your entire drivetrain in %"
