It does what it says in the sense that it will keep track of your HR intensity. You have to manually input your workout on the device. Overall, not too bad for what it is intended to do.

I have no idea what 'you have to manually input your workout on the device' means ?

Many of us would really appreciate the link to Garmin Connect to get the benefit of the workout and data reporting to our profiles. Is this possible please? Hopefully other reviewers rudeness will not have spoilt it for the rest of us. Will give five stars. Thanks

Unfortunately .. time is the one thing I do not have right now. So there are likely going to be zero changes for any of my applications in the next while. However, you can get the data from your spin sessions on the Vivoactive HR currently. You just need to create a text file in the Garmin / Apps / Logs folder the same name as the application file for HR Spin. You can look up the threads for some of my other apps ie HR Always or Drop to get more information on this. The HR Spin app will write your data to that file upon exiting. I really cannot see anything changing anytime soon, as I just have no time to put towards my Garmin apps at this time.

I'm very confused. Used this twice during my indoor cycling session. I do not see it loaded in Garmin Connect. I tried it just now sitting here watching tv. I still do not see that it loads as an activity. What am I doing wrong?

Ok, so lets clarify, you write me a note via contact developer (exactly the same text as your review btw), and ask me a question because you are confused. I get it, but then you turn around and post the exact same text as a review and expect some change. Well before you left me a 1 star review the chances of me taking the time to do as you asked (put the data onto Garmin Connect) was reasonably high. You just likely had to politely ask. But now after this so called review the possibilities are now zero. The above, it sounds more like retaliation to me. Oh the HR Spin app does exactly what it says it will do .. just for those that actually read these things. Have a great day in spite of the above confusion.
