I managed to import the EU Vaccine certificate from the pdf file and to transfer it on the phone. Th QR code was imported corectly, but the text information is scrambled, both on the Android App and the watch.

Hi Catalin! We are happy to have you as one of our users! By your message, we understand that you have imported it from a PDF or an image. Unfortunately, phones do not have the computational capacity to understand full context text, and the limited Passbook format won't allow long text to be in the front fields. For that PassHolder, reorders the field to fit it as best, but you can always edit them in the edit page of the pass and place them in the correct position. Once you edit it, you can export it and save it on your device to use whenever needed.

Hi J-No! PassHolder follows the Passbook standard that allows for QR, Aztec, PDF417, and Code128. (And many EAN can follow inside the 128 formats). Anyways, we take note of your request for other formats. Concerning the battery, it is a situation that we have taken very seriously, and Passholder uses the low possible battery. But synchronizing data with the phone (despite which data or app) is quite stressful for Garmin watches. We encourage you to check your watch's setup and see if any other app's usage is draining that battery. Moreover, as explained, repeatedly synchronizing the data may consume quite a battery; if you have been testing our app for the first time to see how it works, please use it for some time as you would typically do. You would see how the battery lasts as usual.

First of all, this app should be advertised as a payment app given the limited options that you have for free.
But that is not the issue. After the update, it crashes every single time. I have a Vivoactive 4.

Funziona bene ma la comprensione della configurazione è così flessibile da risultare complicata (anche se le impostazioni di base sono alla portata di tutti).
Ottimo il fatto che riconosce il Green Pass per la normativ anti-Covid19.
Una stella in meno del massimo perchè vorrei usare il widget invece dell'app, spero di vederlo in futuro.
It works fine but the understanding of the configuration is so flexible that it results complicated (even if the basic settings are within everyone's reach).
Excellent is the fact that it recognizes the Green Pass for the anti-Covid19 regulation.
One star less than the maximum because I would like to use the widget instead of the app, I hope to see it in the future.

Complimenti per il lavoro fatto! Spero che i prossimi aggiornamenti includeranno anche un wigjet (per Vivoactive 4) senza consumare troppa batteria. L'unico difetto è che per sincronizzare occorre sempre avviare inizialmente Garmin connect (prima di avviare PassHolder-Premium). Altrimenti il bluetooth non viene letto. Grazie e buon lavoro!

Hi Michal! We are happy to have you as a user. As we see, you are experiencing two different situations that we would like to solve. About the editing: you can edit the pass by flipping it (click on any corner of your pass [at the detailed pass view], and it will turn around). On the backside, click on the edit button [the one with a pencil icon], there you could edit all the text fields and others like the barcodes, the images, logos, type of pass, or colors. [However, we would like to advise you beforehand that the edit option is only for Premium users]. The error "PRE10: Passholder not running" tells you that PassHolder in your Android is not running. Thus, you might have fully closed it, and to sync with your watch, it must be running (It doesn't need to be the app on the screen, but at least in the stack of open apps) [Or activate the sync in the background at PassHolder settings page]. I hope I have solved your situation, but we are at your service at [email protected] for any further questions.

Tried the App for my EU- Covid-Vaccination-Certificate (QR-Code) and it seems to work like a charm. Tip for the developer: dublicate the whole App and rename it to CovPassWallet or something similar. I bet this will bring lots of downloads and premium user...

I bought the pro version, but on my watch I can only see 10 of my membership cards. why can't I see all of them? . I already restarted and reinstalled the app and not all my cards appear.

Hello Gonzalo! We are very happy to have you as a user! Concerning the limitation of your membership cards, PassHolder synchronizes all the data in the Active list with all the devices (Well currently there is a virtual limitation of 128 passes, but you would agree is very unlikely to reach it). However, Garmin watches have limited allocated memory for each app, thus PassHolder app stores each pass in the memory until it reaches the capacity and stops saving more data (as it is not allowed by the device). In this case your watch capacity for our app is just reaching this limit at 10 passes (Please be aware that this limit depends on barcode, fields data and might vary). Once said so, our development team is working on a solution to compress data even more and have further capacity in future releases, and being able to extend this limitation (unfortunately only affecting Garmin watches).

A really good little watch app which will save me loads of time.
From gym barriers (when they re-open), to supermarket/petrol station loyalty cards and various other IDs which I NEVER remember to take out with me. Both the Android app and the watch app each have their own uses and I'm now a fully paid premium supporter.
Initially there were some issues with my watch and the latest Garmin software combination, but the team were amazingly quick to respond, and worked to fix the bug with amazing efficiency. The latest version is rock stable.
All in all, great little app and a fantastic team behind it for support.

(descent mk2) I really like this app, worth the premium fee!
In corona times if I want to go to the gym, I need a one-time qr-pass to enter (Basic-fit). I can create a qr-code with the code provided in the e-mail, or simply use the camera app to 'copy' the qr code from the e-mail and leave the phone at home.
- I would love to be able to copy/paste the qr image, (how is that different from taking a camera snap?) and have it converted to qr-code, instead of having to take a picture of the qr-code on my tablet with my phone... seems a bit of work, just to be able to leave my phone at home.
- This app is now in the 'activities' list, shouldn't it be an 'app'? (long press light button). like weather / sun up/down / timers etc.

Hello Eize! We're delighted that you are using our App, and having such positive users like you, gives us a lot of strength to keep on developing! Concerning your questions, PassHolder can use an image, too. If you have an email, try to open the attached file or a screenshot with PassHolder. (Some phones have default apps for pictures and not ask for another app to open them; maybe that is why you don't see PassHolder as a suggestion). However, taking a picture or open an image is the same process for the App (actually, once the picture is taken is sent to the image processor module). About the Garmin Apps, they're all treated as Activities; we're currently developing a Widget (long press light ones, like the sun up/down) for those watches, like yours, that can run them. But, as we want to deploy for the most number of devices, we decided to develop the App first (as it works for all devices) and then make a special one for those devices that can run Widgets, as it is more convenient. (Note that our Garmin IQ answer is more extense, as it is not restricted to 350 characters. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected], as we have no limit :D . Moreover, we are developing an FAQ section on our web page that we expect to be ready as soon as possible)

Doesn't really work for me -- in the free version I tried to see if it's useful, after adding one (single) barcode to the Android companion app and syncing it to my fenix 6 Pro, all I could see on Garmin was the default QR code asking me to go to the pass-holder website to buy the licence.
I mean, really? So I can't even see the *single* "pass" to decide if I like the app?
I don't like it really. Removing.

Hello Will, we are sorry to hear that the app did not satisfy your expectations. But due that you are receiving the "Upgrade to premium" pass, the app is successfully connecting with your device and synchronizing the PassList. However, non-Premium users can synchronize only one pass with their wearables. Thus your app should be synchronizing the first pass in your list plus the "Upgrade to premium" pass. If you are just synchronizing the "Upgrade to premium," it might be due that your "Active" tag list is empty (While your Pkpass is in the "Stored" tag).
