* most communication problems can be resolved by checking that the "Garmin Connect" App is started and not suspended by the Operating System

Setup:

- install a mapping application e.g. Google maps or OsmAnd (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.osmand)

- install IQ Map Receiver app on Garmin watch (or widget)
*  capable of T-Rex offline mode (transfer hundreds of Gpx based Waypoints from Mobile Phone to Edge or Fenix watch with only Bluetooth activated

- install IQ Map Receiver Companion App on Android phone from Microsoft GitHub: https://github.com/NilsSei/iqmapreceiver_release/releases/download/IQMAPRECEIVER_ANDROID_2_9_3/iqmapreceiver_release_2_9_3.apk
