My one complaint is that after my activity has been uploaded it does not show the color trends as in the humon app

We've just added the colored zones to the FIT File recorded by Garmin so that you can import them into your favorite training platform.

This data field gives all the info the mobile app gives with the exception of the recent history trend chart (but really, there probably isn't room for that on the watch screen). The recent update showing colors means I can now go for a run and don't have to hold my phone with the screen on to see the data; I can see everything on my watch. It went from an okay data field to a great one with this update. The only thing it's missing is a way to see in Garmin Connect the color zones (so looking back on an activity I could see where I was in recovery / limit / etc in addition to raw numbers), but that may not be doable.

Connected to FR935, it looses the CONNECT IQ connection a lot of times while the SMO2 value, directly obtained from the sensor remains connected. This last value however is not recorded in the fit file. Only the CONNECT IQ value is.
Noticed something very interesting today: while riding indoor bike, positioning my pedals on the middle of my foot, the SMO2 values were declining more than positioning my forefoot on the pedal. Heart rate, gear and RPM values remained the same. I think this is because my calves are more activated when placing forefoot on the pedal. Overall I felt it was easier biking putting my forefoot on the pedal.

I am waiting until it will display more data in real time, like HbT and current zone, perfectly in color

when the app works it works well. wasn't made compatible with the VivoActive3, but works on my older VivoactiveHR. it does NOT require the phone to be synced to work on the garmin. After starting Hex (multi flash then red light) double push the power button, and it will go blue, then slow flash green... at this time the vaHR can pick up the data stream. occasionally i have to start run, exit, start run for the stream to be seen. (check its sending data before you hit go) when the data stream records, the data shows on garmin and is quite interested. should you not get the stream to record, even though the hex records 64 hrs of data, there's no current way to get the data out after the fact.
a serious amount of potential with this device, and it's amazing how (for me) you can see when your pushing over your limit before you feel it. u can find your sweet spot where supply matches demand, you can see your legs recover after pushing a hill... i'm excited for this device, just need the apps to catch up to it.

Cannot pair with Vivoactive HR, which is listed as being compatible with Hex. The Humon datafield app-file does appear within the list of installed components on the Vivoactive HR, when the list is shown by the IQ Connect Manager. The Vivoactive HR does receive external ANT+ sensors, including a Garmin heartstrap, and a Quark powermeter. The Humon sensor data (SMO2 and THgb) does appear on PerfPro. So I'm wondering if the Humon software add-on (datafield for IQ Connect) is somehow not allowing pairing with Vivoactive HR. I'm really excited about the Hex producing muscle oxymetry on PerfPro!!!

Does what it should, however:
* requires the phone for every workout to pair with my Fenix 3
* only saves integer values for SmO2 to the fit file.
