Using your Xert™ Fitness Signature, your derived Focus and Difficulty are calculated and displayed.  Focus as a time measure that indicates the area of your fitness that is currently being exercised during the current activity. For example, if your Focus is 3:00, then the current activity has been exercising your ability to sustain your 3 minute power. Focus provides a way to target areas of your fitness without requiring rigid workout structure.

Difficulty Score is an Xert measurement that helps you understand how much high intensity repetition you are experiencing in the activity.  Measures over 75 are competitive. Over 110 is tough and normally achieved by elite athletes.  Over 150 is classified as "hard" and is the domain of professional athletes.  In general, the longer and closer you work to your Maximal Power Available, the greater the difficulty.

Focus is colour-coded to indicate the Specificity of the current Focus:
Black = Polar (less than 33%)
Blue = Mixed (between 33% and 66%)
Green = Pure (greater than 66%)
