I have been a member of F3 for 6+ years. I also like to tinker with technology which is why when I saw some of the watch faces on Connect IQ, I thought, "why not one for F3?". The original version took a couple months to create since I am a novice with Java. I took a long hiatus after getting it working. One of the most frequent requests was to offer something for rectangular screens, but I didn't like how the original layout looked on these devices. Fast forward to the new Rounded concept which also looks decent on these boxy devices.

This F3 watch face displays time, date (month/day), heart rate (if applicable), step count, and battery status. It will display a bluetooth icon when connected to your phone. If you have notifications, the bluetooth icon will be replaced by a notifications icon. It will also display an alarm icon if you have alarms set.

You can choose between 12-hour and 24-hour format in watch settings. Unlike the round screen versions, the Squared watch face does not (yet) offer custom coloring for the various elements. I am getting an out-of-memory error on the square screens when using my custom settings code. I will work on an alternative solution -- if you're a Java developer in F3 with some spare time, I'd be happy to post my dirty code on github for collaboration!

Feel free to report issues via email, and I will do my best to fix the problem. Adding a picture would be helpful if the issue involves the screen layout.
