AEVM’s Garmin companion brings supported heart-rate readings into AEVM on your iPhone, with clear timestamps and confirmation when readings have been saved.

IPHONE COMPANION REQUIRED
The AEVM iPhone app is currently in testing and is not yet publicly available. Please contact me@paulhoward.co before installing to ask about companion access.

STANDARD
Review available recent heart-rate history and sync it while AEVM is open on your watch. Available history varies by watch and settings.

ACTIVE
View and send live heart-rate readings while the watch app is running in the foreground. Switch back to Standard when you finish.

CONFIRMED SYNC
Pending packets are kept for retry within the app’s storage limit. “Saved on iPhone” confirms that the phone has received and stored a packet.

OBSERVATION
Use a consent-based 12-hour observation window with a separate short live check. Readings keep their original measurement times.

GETTING STARTED
Keep your watch paired with Garmin Connect. In the AEVM iPhone app, open Sources → AEVM on Garmin → Choose Garmin watch. Open AEVM on both devices for the first connection.

The direct Garmin connection currently supports heart-rate history and foreground live readings.

AEVM provides wellness information, not diagnosis or emergency monitoring.
