YOUR OWN SCHEDULES
Build up to 5 schedules, like a structured workout: a chain of steps, each with its own distance or time, repeat, text, carbs and caffeine. For example:
- 0 km: Gel (before the start, no alert)
- 10 km: Dextro
- 3x 5 km: Gel (km 15, 20, 25)
- 5 km: Gel CAF, caffeine (km 30)
Repeated steps are numbered automatically (Gel #1, #2, #3). Each schedule is all distance or all time; vibration and tone (if your watch has one) can be switched on or off. Steps are not just gels: give any step its own text, like Water, Salt or Bar (0 g is fine).

ON TIME, NOT ON TOP OF YOUR LAP ALERT
The alert comes 60 s or 150 m before the planned moment (adjustable, 0 = on the moment), so it doesn't clash with your km or lap alert. It shows what to take, the grams, the planned moment (km 15) and your position (3/5). On a time schedule the countdown pauses when you pause.

AT A GLANCE
- Countdown to the next alert and what comes next
- Full screen: countdown ring, progress dots, total carbs and g/h
- Turns amber in the last 500 m or minute
- After an alert the field keeps showing it ("Gel · now", then "Gel · km 20"), so a missed buzz is never a mystery
- Works in 1, 2 or more field layouts

PICK ON THE WATCH
Open the activity menu (on most watches: hold UP) › Connect IQ fields › FuelSteps to choose a schedule, preview its moments or turn it off. Nothing fires until you pick a schedule, and after the run it is off again, like a navigation route; schedule 1 "Gel 5 km" (3x 5 km, a 25 g gel with caffeine) is ready to go.

IN GARMIN CONNECT
FuelSteps saves your planned intake in the activity: carbs and carbs per hour as charts, plus total carbs, fuel moments, caffeine moments and schedule name in the summary.

SETUP
In the Connect IQ app on your phone:
1. Install FuelSteps.
2. My data fields › FuelSteps › Settings: paste the import text from https://fuelsteps.com/plan/?utm_source=connectiq&utm_medium=store into a schedule field (up to 5), then Save.
On the watch:
3. After the sync the watch asks to install FuelSteps: pick the activity (Run, Trail Run, Track, Treadmill) › OK. The field is now on a data screen of that activity.
4. Alerts › Add New › Connect IQ › FuelSteps › On (the watch may ask this during installation). Without this there is no full-screen alert, only vibration and tone.
5. Before every run: hold UP › Connect IQ fields › FuelSteps › pick your schedule (it switches off after the run).

Languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian.

FuelSteps – Gel & Carb Fuel Reminder

IN ÉÉN OOGOPSLAG

IN GARMIN CONNECT

Talen: Engels, Nederlands, Duits, Frans, Spaans, Italiaans.

IN GARMIN CONNECT

I TUOI PIANI
- 10 km: Dextro
- 3x 5 km: Gel (km 15, 20, 25)
- 5 km: Gel CAF, caffeina (km 30)

A COLPO D'OCCHIO
- Diventa ambra negli ultimi 500 m o nell'ultimo minuto

IN GARMIN CONNECT

4. Avvisi › Aggiungi nuovo › Connect IQ › FuelSteps › Attivo (a volte l'orologio lo chiede già all'installazione). Senza non c'è l'avviso a schermo intero, solo vibrazione e tono.

Lingue: inglese, olandese, tedesco, francese, spagnolo, italiano.
