Description:
Set a pull-up goal and find out when you will reach it.

Pull-Up Coach is a personal trainer for overhand pull-ups. You tell it how many pull-ups you can do now and how many you want to do in a row. The app builds the plan, tells you what to do today and forecasts the date you will reach your goal. After every max test the forecast is recalculated.

How it works
- 3 workouts a week with a rest day between them.
- Sets are about half of your max, never to failure. In studies this way of training gave better gains than sets close to failure.
- Every 5 workouts there is a max test: one set to failure.
- The plan adapts. Below 90% of the plan the workout repeats, and no progress in tests means a lighter week.
- The forecast combines the pace from published research with your own test results.

Clean and readable
The home screen shows today's plan (for example 6 × 3), your progress toward the goal and the predicted date. The Progress card shows your test history and the forecast. Rest timers run by themselves, and a vibration tells you when to get back to the bar.

You enter every rep yourself
The app counts nothing from sensors, because counting reps from the wrist is unreliable. Set the number with UP and DOWN (or by touch) and confirm.

Garmin Connect
Your workout is saved to Garmin Connect as a strength activity with heart rate and calories, with a lap for every set. You can turn this off in the settings.

Who it is for
People who can already do at least one full pull-up. Goals go from 3 to 30 pull-ups.

An honest note about the forecast
The date is an estimate based on published training studies and your own tests, and it moves with how regularly you train. This is not medical advice. Check with your doctor before starting an exercise program.
