Carry a little mountain light with you.

Alpine Glow is a free illustrated watch face inspired by the mountain scenery and nighttime lights around Feilai Temple, beneath the Meili Snow Mountains in Yunnan, China. Snow peaks rise above layered blue valleys, while warm window light brings a quiet glow to the night scenes.

FIFTEEN VIEWS OF THE MOUNTAINS
From blue dawn through five stages of golden sunrise; from a quiet night through five silver-moonlight views; plus daylight, a crescent night and a Milky Way scene. Every scene is included, with no trial, activation code, account or paid upgrade.

Choose Automatic to let available location, sunrise and sunset, calculated moon conditions and Garmin weather guide the artwork. Or select any of the fifteen scenes to keep your favorite view throughout the day. These are staged changes between illustrations, not continuous animation or a live view of Feilai Temple. The window lights are an artistic detail, not a feed of the temple's lighting.

CLEAR INFORMATION, IN ONE GLANCE
A large 24-hour clock sits between weather and date. Below it, two aligned rows show altitude, heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, stress and battery. The face uses English abbreviations; settings are available in English and Simplified Chinese. Temperature and altitude follow your watch's unit preferences, with unit suffixes omitted for a clean layout.

READINGS THAT RESPECT THE DATA
The face displays available Garmin measurements and recent records. It does not start GPS, take a blood oxygen measurement or record an activity. Missing, invalid or old readings appear as a dash. Blood oxygen uses a recent sample, with a selectable age limit of 15, 30 or 60 minutes; it is not a continuous reading. Weather and automatic scenery depend on data available to the watch. If location or suitable weather is unavailable, the artwork falls back to a simpler day or night scene.

Preview images show sample data.

ALWAYS-ON CLOCK
When the watch enters its low-power display mode, an optional small clock replaces the full illustration and changes position each minute. The full scene returns when the watch wakes. Availability also depends on your watch's display settings.

Alpine Glow
