Goal for this Datafield is starting and stopping the recording of a Gopro Hero Actioncam on your Garmin device in a regular datafield.</p><p>It uses Bluetooth (BLE) and WIFI is not used.</p><p></p><p>Please do not rate this app negative but send feedback for improving</p><p>
1.0.0.1 First testing version:</p><p>- add datafield to a layout</p><p>- the first status is 'Searching', then 'Found' and 'Pairing Started'</p><p>- go to the gopro pairing screen (Connections/Connect Device/GoPro App)</p><p>- the status will go to 'Connected'</p><p>- about 60 secs after start a beep command will be send to the Gopro (does not work on my VA3Music, work to do)</p><p></p><p>How i think you should start the gopro when I succeed to do starting (limited options because it is a datafield)</p>

First of all, great idea ! I’ve tested the app an it connects perfectly. I have a hero 9 and edge 830. It would be great to have just one action button to manually start stop the recording. Wondering if it would be hard to program another button to navigate among picture, time lapse and video with an icon/text displaying the mode ? Good luck ! Cheers
