Make room for daylight. DAYWARD is a dusk mountain landscape watch face built for runners, hikers, dog walkers, and anyone fitting a daily outdoor loop into the remaining daylight—100% free and offline.

Instead of forcing you to do mental math from a raw sunset time, DAYWARD answers one practical question at a glance:
"When should I leave for my usual outing?"

HOW IT WORKS
Latest Departure (LEAVE BY) = Sunset - Outing Duration - Personal Margin
- Daylight Left: Large, high-contrast countdown showing remaining daylight until astronomical sunset (or time until sunrise before dawn).
- Sky Trajectory & Horizontal Timeline: Above the mountain ridge, a subtle solar arc tracks NOW (ivory dot), your LEAVE BY cutoff (coral dot), and SUNSET (amber dot). After dark, the sky transitions to stars and a crescent moon.
- Customizable Lower Display:
  1. Daylight Timeline (Default): Visual progress bar with timestamps for Now, Leave By, and Sunset.
  2. Elevation Profile (4h): 4-hour barometric elevation trend from on-watch sensor history (metres or feet).
  3. 7-Day Steps: 6 previous calendar days plus today's live step bar.
- 4 Accent Palettes: Dusk Amber (default), Glacier Blue, Coral Dusk, and High-Contrast White.
- AMOLED Burn-In Protection: Minimalist Always-On Display (AOD) shifts a dim digital clock across 6 non-overlapping positions (under 1.5% lit pixels).

FIRST-RUN & LOCATION GUIDE (ZERO GPS BATTERY DRAIN)
DAYWARD never turns on your GPS radio. It reads the last cached GPS fix from your watch:
1. If you see "SET LOCATION" ("Open GPS or set location") on first install, either start any outdoor GPS activity briefly to acquire a satellite fix and return to the watch face, OR open Connect IQ Settings, then enable "Use fixed coordinates" and enter your latitude and longitude (-90..90, -180..180).
2. A cached GPS fix older than 24 hours displays a "~" prefix and "Location Xd old"; a fix older than 7 days is not used for solar calculation.
3. If you enable fixed coordinates, remember to update them or switch back to automatic GPS cache when travelling.

IMPORTANT OUTDOOR NOTICE
Sunrise and sunset times are approximate offline astronomical calculations assuming an unobstructed flat horizon. Mountains, valleys, forest canopy, and weather reduce real-world dusk visibility earlier than astronomical sunset. Always carry a headlamp and appropriate equipment; DAYWARD is a daily planning aid, not a safety or navigation instrument.

DAYWARD
