Add a customizable countdown timer to any activity!

Every time you "lap" it will count down from the set time, vibrating and alerting when the time reaches zero. Just "lap" again and the countdown will restart.

Set a custom time to measure yoga poses, breaks between exercise sets, penalty time-outs, or anything else.

# Instructions

## Adding to an activity

1. Either launch an activity and hold the Up button, or in the device menu go to Settings → Activities & Apps → select an activity.

2. Go into the activity settings, (e.g. Cardio Settings) → Data Screens → scroll to select Add New.

3. Select Custom Data → choose the layout → ConnectIQ Fields → Countdown.

## Changing the settings

1. In the ConnectIQ mobile phone app, select your device at the top of the screen, or under My Device.

2. Go to Activities, Apps & More → Data Fields → Countdown Timer → Settings.

The settings are:

* Countdown time (seconds): How long the countdown timer should be. Minimum of 10 seconds.

* Count up after countdown alert: When disabled (default) the field will show the Countdown time after the countdown reaches zero. When enabled the field will show the time since the countdown reached zero.

* Play alert tone: When enabled your device will make an audible sound when the countdown reaches zero.

* Play alert vibration: When enabled your device will vibrate when the countdown reaches zero.
