Does not work with Garmin Oregon 700. App is installed according to Connect IQ. But can't see or run them.
December 24, 2020 | Version 1.7.5
Sadly the accuracy is about 300 mts out, when compared with my Samsung phone.
October 9, 2020 | Version 1.7.5
It times out and goes back to the clock before it gets a chance to display the words. I get 'waiting for GPS' and then 'loading' and then the clock.
September 3, 2020 | Version 1.7.1
Love the app & used it with great success on my previous watch but have finally given up as cannot get it to work on my fenix 6s. Gets to the 'loading' screen & doesn't go any further.

It may be beyond your control but having a life saving location app that requires an internet connection is just pointless. There is no internet at sea, or in the moors or mountains etc. The phone app can store an offline database so it works with just a GPS signal, why cant watch app work that way too ?. If it requires the internet, its useless.
August 4, 2020 | Version 1.7.1
Once outside my Fenix-6 says "Waiting for GPS" for about 30 to 60 seconds, then responds with "Loading", after which it just times out. Very poor IMHO!

Thanks for the one star, Very poor IMHO, too.
I own an Fenix 6 an it works normal. Every time... First connect your Fenix to your smartphone (it works only online, because there is no way to get the w3w database to your fenix). Than open the widget, it use the fenix gps to detect the location and then get the w3w in your language. So, because you stand in an bad position to get your GPS signal, and have also an bad internet connection you rate the app with 1 Star... Thank you

Does it's purpose, but needs an update of available languages
November 14, 2019 | Version 1.7.0
On Vivoactive 3, exiting out of widget causes ConnectIQ watch face to disappear and return to the default face.
October 9, 2019 | Version 1.7.0
Well, I have what3words downloaded on my iPhone and it works brilliantly (first heard about this app on the BBC website). I have now added it to my Garmin S60 golf watch and firstly get 'Waiting for GPS' then 'Loading' but nothing more happens. Having said that, I occasionally get three words, but when I look to see where the place is on the iPhone it is somewhere near the 18th green where I completed my round of golf (it seems to retain that location). Can't find any missing connections - can you help?
October 8, 2019 | Version 1.7.0
Thanks for your answer. It works now. Merci.
August 18, 2019 | Version 1.6
It does not have a local database requiring a cell connection... and of it had one I wish I could save a waypoint (location) with the 3W name...
June 23, 2019 | Version 1.6
Brilliant! I’ve had the what3words app on my phone for a while but it takes little while to locate etc. Now I can get my 3 word location with 2 button presses!

Garmin express shows that app is installed but i can't find this app on my device. Using GPSMAP 66s - trash

Hi, thank you for your 1 Star review. Next time I suggest to Google, where to find widgets on the gpsmap66, instead giving an bad review for an widget you never find.
April 17, 2019 | Version 1.6
Gave me different 3 words every time I used it while sitting in the garden. Would get the emergency services in roughly the right place if I was in the middle of nowhere, so it's a very useful app. Thanks.

I have a Fenix 3 HR and this never works. I have gone outside and connected to GPS but this app can't seem to connect. I do appreciate your hard work and will check back!

Hi, i tested it again & again & it works. Try out to get an GPS first (f.e. Time over GPS), & be shure that your watch is connected to the app on your smartphone. If it fails, write me an E-Mail. Best Sven

It needs to be clarified what this app does. I was looking for a way to enter 3 words into my garmin 5x so I can use it to navigate to a what 3 word location i enter however as far as I can determine the app just shows the what3words representation of the current location using the devices GPS.

Garmin express shows that app is installed but i can't find this app on my device. Using Oregon 750t

This is how you will find the widget
June 1, 2016 | Version 1.2.1-upd
Does not work on Vivoactive hr. Only see waiting for GPS on screen.
August 15, 2016, siebensamurai
Please make sure, that you will have an GPS signal, f.e. go outside for a better GPS Signal. Vivoactive hr works with this APP

Great little app. Introduced me to the world of What 3 Words which I find fascinating and for which I can see so many applications. It's obvious why one needs a phone to do the lookup, but with that, getting out one's phoen to use the W3W app isn't much more effort and which provides much more information - but I guess that's true of nearly any smartwatch type app. Does what it says and does it well. Kudos and thanks to the developer!

Wow, i did not know that this exists and it is super easy and useful. Congrats

Really useful widget !!!
April 30, 2016 | Version V 1.1
Intriduce me to w3w. Happy that this application is available on my watch!
April 28, 2016 | Version V 1.1
Great work on this widget. I wish it worked without being tethered to phone and connectiq. That is most likely a limitation of the 10mb algorithm. I still see this being useful though. Thanks!
