Sailing is a watch app for recording sailing activities and viewing your speed in knots, heading, lap data, and total activity data.

Choose the mode that suits your session:

- Cruise mode for everyday sailing without a race countdown
- Race mode for a configurable start countdown (5 minutes by default)

HOW TO USE

1. Launch the app and wait for the GPS quality indicator. You can press Start at any GPS quality level to begin recording.
2. Use Next page and Previous page to switch between speed and heading, lap data, and total activity data.
3. While recording, press Back to create a lap.
4. Press Start while recording to open the pause menu. From there, you can resume, start a new lap, save, or discard the activity.
5. Open the menu and select Sailing mode to choose Cruise or Race.
6. In Race mode, select Start timer from the menu while activity recording is active.
7. During the countdown, use Next page or Previous page to adjust it by one minute if you missed the start.

APP SETTINGS

- Sailing mode: choose Cruise for everyday sailing without a countdown, or Race to enable the race-start countdown.
- Countdown signals: choose Standard for regular minute, half-minute, and final-second alerts, or Dynamic for an increasingly frequent alert sequence as the start approaches.

To hear beeps and receive vibration alerts during the countdown, enable alerts in the app and make sure sounds and vibration are enabled for apps in your watch settings.
