Name: Dead Run

Turn your run into an endless zombie chase.

Start with a 60-second warm-up, then run faster to widen the gap. Zombies accelerate with chase distance, so the challenge gets harder until they catch you. Getting caught ends the game, not your recorded run.

See your zombie gap in metres, animated pixel-art zombies, distance in miles and available heart rate. Vibration warns each time zombies enter the 25-metre danger zone after moving farther away. Successful start, pause and resume give a short vibration and beep.

Controls:
- Open outdoors and wait for GPS.
- START begins recording; press again to pause or resume.
- BACK opens the save confirmation; START saves, BACK again discards the recording and exits.
- BACK after saving exits.
- Use physical buttons; screen taps do not control the run.

The backlight stays on while the app is open, subject to device settings and firmware limits. This increases battery use.

Dead Run records your running activity using Garmin's recording system, including GPS and available heart-rate data. Saved activities can sync through Garmin Connect. The app has no network access, third-party telemetry, accounts or required phone companion.

Safety: the chase deliberately becomes impossible. Pause at crossings and never exceed safe exertion to avoid losing.

Currently supports the standard fenix 7 only.
