Squore – Squash Scorer

Fast, mistake-proof squash scoring on your wrist, and the match lands in Garmin Connect and Strava as Squash, not as a generic workout.

WHY SQUORE
- Records as Squash. Your matches show up as Squash in Garmin Connect and sync to Strava with the right sport type.
- One button per player. Score between rallies without looking: bottom-left for your point, middle-left for your opponent's.
- Unlimited undo. Bottom-right takes back the last action, as far back as you need, even across finished games.
- Serve tracking. The screen shows who serves and from which box (R or L), following the rules: keep the serve and switch boxes, win it back and choose your side. Hold middle-left, or tap the marker, to switch boxes.
- Court view. A top-down court with the score on the front wall and the server's box lit up. A simple split-screen layout is also available.

SCORING FORMATS
- PAR 11, PAR 11 golden point (sudden death at 10-10), PAR 15
- Hand-in/hand-out (traditional) to 9, with the 8-all choice of 9 or 10
- Best of 5, best of 3, single game, or open play
- Choose a random first server, or set who serves each new game: the winner of the last game, or alternate games

OPPONENTS AND RESULTS
- Save opponents and see your head-to-head record. Add names on the watch or from the Garmin Connect app.
- Activities are named "Squash v [opponent]" in Garmin Connect.
- End-of-match summary: every game's score, rallies, average and maximum heart rate, duration and steps.
- Game scores, rallies and match totals are saved into the activity for Garmin Connect.

ON COURT
- Warm-up is recorded as its own lap, then one press starts the match. Each game is a lap.
- Matches save automatically when they end, with a short countdown so a mistaken last point can still be undone.
- If the app is interrupted, it offers to resume the match with the score and serve intact.
- Heart rate in zone colours, live steps and calories, optional time of day.
- Battery friendly: about 3-4% for a 50-minute match on a fenix 8 Pro.

SETTINGS (Garmin Connect app)
Default format, match length and layout; who serves each new game; your preferred box when you win the serve; scores follow your side of the court; colour themes, including colour-blind safe and high contrast, and your own player colours; vibration; time of day; swap the score buttons; opponents list.

BUTTONS
- Bottom-left: your point
- Middle-left: opponent's point (hold to switch service box)
- Bottom-right: undo
- Top-right: menu (pause, layout, end match)

WATCHES
Built for Garmin watches with five buttons and a round screen, including the fenix, epix, Forerunner, Enduro, MARQ, Descent and D2 ranges. On older models that predate Garmin's Squash activity type (for example the fenix 6 Pro series and MARQ Gen 1), matches are recorded as Workout, or Tennis if you prefer; scoring and every other feature are the same, and you can change the sport type in Strava afterwards. Touchscreen-only watches (Venu, vivoactive) are not supported yet.

PRIVACY
Squore works entirely on your watch. It collects no personal data and makes no network connections. Opponent names stay on your watch and in your Garmin activities.

Feedback and ideas are welcome. Squore is made by a squash player, for squash players.
