Name: Tee Tracker
Author: pandah

This app is free and only works together with the TeeTracker app on your phone. It is currently in testing. Without TeeTracker on the phone it shows "Phone not connected" and below it "Demo hole": START (the upper key on a Venu) opens a sample hole with a simulated golfer walking it, Back ends it.

You start the round in TeeTracker on your phone. Once it runs, the watch shows the current hole: the distance to the middle of the green, plus the distance to its front and back edge, in metres. Below that are your strokes on the hole, coloured by the result against par, and the score line the phone works out.

COUNTING STROKES
One key press counts a stroke, and the menu takes one back. If more than one person plays in your group, you switch players on the watch. You change the hole with a swipe or the keys, and the phone follows. The score always lives on the phone, the watch only sends your input there. When you count a stroke it sends its position along, so the phone files the stroke at the right spot.

MAP
If the course in TeeTracker has hole shapes, the watch draws the hole to the right of the distances: fairway, water, bunkers, trees, the green, your position and the shots you have already played. A large map can be zoomed and moved. On watches with a touch screen you tap the map and the watch shows the distance from you to that point and from there to the flag. A hole without a shape says "No hole shape" and gives you the distances without a map.

ACTIVITY
During the round the watch records a golf activity with GPS. When you finish the round on the phone, the watch saves it to Garmin Connect. If you cancel the round, it throws the recording away.

WHAT YOU NEED
The TeeTracker app on your phone, plus Garmin Connect paired with your watch. The app speaks German or English, depending on the setting in TeeTracker.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
The watch does not start or finish a round and does not pick a course. You enter putts, clubs and penalty strokes on the phone. Statistics and handicap index are shown by the phone only. Without the phone nearby the watch cannot begin a new round.

Tee Tracker

WAS DU BRAUCHST
