Name: Swymmetry – Swim Training & Adaptive Planner
Author: Swymmetry

Swymmetry builds your swimming plan, sends it to your watch, and then learns from what
you actually swam.

HOW IT WORKS

Tell Swymmetry what you are training for and how often you can get to the pool. It builds
a plan that runs all the way to that goal and sends each session to your Garmin watch.

You swim it. The watch records the session, and alongside the usual lap times it records
how your arm moves, many times a second, from the first length to the last. That
recording goes back to the app, which works out how you actually swam — your pace in each
stroke, how steady you held it, how efficient the stroke was, where your heart rate sat,
and how closely the session matched what was asked of you.

The next sessions are built from that. Over time Swymmetry builds a picture of you as a
swimmer, and your plan follows that picture instead of a template.

ON YOUR WATCH

• Your session, one block at a time — which stroke, how far, and what to aim for.
• It moves on by itself when it sees you stop, and buzzes so you know. The buttons work
  too, forwards and back.
• Your heart rate in the colour of the zone you are in, so one glance is enough.
• It records the whole swim and keeps it on the watch until you are near your phone
again. Nothing has to be in range while you are swimming.

WHAT YOU NEED

• The Swymmetry app on an ANDROID phone. The watch app is one half of a pair — on its
own it cannot plan or analyse anything. There is no iPhone app yet.
• Garmin Connect on the same phone. That is how the watch and the app reach each other.
• A pool. Swymmetry is built for pool swimming and works in your pool's length.

FREE AND PAID

• Your first two swims are free. They are the measurements everything else is built
from, and they reach your watch like any other session.
• After those two, building and sending new planned sessions needs a Swymmetry
subscription. It is bought inside the Android app, not here, and it renews
  automatically until you cancel it.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under their refund policy. We do not
  take payments ourselves.

SETTINGS ON THE WATCH

Pool length, metres or yards, whether blocks move on by themselves, and what the block
label shows. Your phone keeps these in step with the app, so you normally set them once.
