Fantastic. I have the edge 130. And while there are many apps that pit you against a SET PACE, this can be adjusted throughout your route. I must admit, it's a bit long to put in all the data you need for each route, and you may need a slight maths degree. But it has been a big help for me. I can now lower the pace when going uphill, and increase it when going down. So as long as you understand how to put in all the data, this will help tremendously towards helping you keep your overall average speed goals.

Thx! I'm aware it comes with not much comfort and spent all effort in functionalities. And while developing I struggled to meet the limit of data field size. I wrote the data field for a Marathon in the Alps in 2017 and additionally wrote program to read a GPS file with elevation to calculate a pacing with adjusted gradient.

After Simple Pacer disappeared, switched to this one. Comes with more options, so took some time to understand all the options (some more documentation would have been helpful :-) ) and don't think Yellow background actually works on Forerunner 235 (when colored bar chart is enabled). Something that would be useful to add is an option to increase scale of bar chart when it goes over the limit: e.g. if set to 120 seconds, increase scale with a predefined number of seconds. Helpful when a marathon is going unexpectedly well (in the other case, probably don't car about bar chart)
