Name: Halo Spartan Master Chief HUD Mjolnir Helmet Watch
Author: mac-technologies

Wake up, Spartan.

This watch face puts a MJOLNIR helmet display over the Halo rings. Raise your wrist and you see what a Spartan sees: the shield bar across the top, health below it, the ammo counter, and the motion tracker pulsing at the bottom, picking up contacts.

Everything on the HUD is a reading:
• Shield — your battery. It drains from both ends towards the middle, the way it does in Halo 3, and turns red and flashes when you are down to 25%
• Health — your step goal, ten segments filling as you walk
• Step ring — the step goal again, around the edge of the screen
• Ammo counter — the seconds. Sixty rounds, one fired every second, reloaded at the top of the minute
• The time, large, following your 12/24-hour setting, and the date below it
• STEPS — today's steps
• BPM or KCAL — your heart rate, or today's calories

Make it yours: in the watch face's settings in the Garmin Connect app, choose whether the reading on the right shows your heart rate or your calories. It shows your heart rate to begin with.

The motion tracker comes alive when you raise your wrist. Every two seconds a pulse sweeps out from the centre, and the red contacts ahead of you flare as it passes them, then fade until the next sweep, while a friendly yellow dot holds position behind.

Behind the HUD, two views of the rings take turns, changing every quarter of an hour: a ring arching over its world, and a ring's vast structure crossing the sky beside a blue planet.

Set in a squared typeface in the style of the games' displays, in the HUD's pale blue.

Made for both AMOLED and MIP displays — fēnix, epix, Forerunner, Venu, vívoactive, Enduro, MARQ, Descent and more. On AMOLED watches in always-on mode only a dim clock stays lit, gently shifting position to protect your screen. Between wrist raises the tracker rests and the magazine shows full.

Made for fans of Master Chief and the Spartans, of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo Infinite, of Cortana, the Covenant and the Forerunner rings, and of sci-fi shooters and gaming watch faces.
