The Rowing Stroke is a data field tailored for rowing. It displays strokes/min. It does not require any sensor to measure strokes/min. The strokes/min is evaluated simply through analysis of the speed variation. The method returns the exact stroke if the stroke has been relatively stable during the last 10 strokes.

Note: for those experiencing a capped stroke of 25 SPM, can you indicate the device you are using. The calculations are limited for SPM between 17.5 and 40. I experience no issue with my Forerunner. You can wetransfer me the "fit" file for the capped issue. Make certain the recorded sampling rate is 1 sample per sec.
