Easy and pretty much automatic once its set up. Plan is easy to follow on the watch. The run is uploaded automatically to TAO. I would like a little bit more information presented about each run. As is I need to check my phone about what the heck TAO actually wants me todo. I'm sure I will learn as I continue to run with the app more. Not a deal breaker but would be nice.

TrainAsOne is a great coaching service. Enter your goal race distance and date and it will concoct a training schedule for you. The watch app synchs with a smartphone and displays your next TrainAsOne scheduled workout. Although it doesn't eliminate the need for a phone or PC, but this convenient app serves as a reminder to your next workout.

I use an VA3 and this widget is the perfect way to check what workout I'm next due to do next. Shame the watch cannot guide me through the workout, but I understand that is a Garmin restriction and not the decision or fault of the developer.

Is not useful if you have free account. Fake app show only info please upgrade and pay 6£ every months . If you will pay, so after you many times error, you can't download training via this apps , because server not answer. Better when you have free account create training via Garmin , so after you have possibility to export to calendar , and you don't need always connect internet ,mobile phone to download training to the watch .

We're sorry you feel that £6/month is too much for the full TrainAsONE service. We provide a free plan specifically because we believe it is important for everyone to have access to personalised training, but some of the more advanced features are made available only on the paid plan. We have been told by some users that the ability to view their upcoming workouts on the watch even without direct download is useful, so we have kept the rest of the watch app functionality present on the free plan

Sorry - the fenix 3 watch is one of the watch models which do not support workout download by third party apps (this is a Garmin restriction and not something we can do anything about). We have been told by some users with such watches that they still like the ability to view their upcoming workouts direct on the watches, so we have made this 'lite' version available, and tried to make it clear in the description that it cannot download workouts.

I downloaded the app on my Fenix 3 HR and my next workout (to workouts folder) . Now all I can see is "Please grant access to TrainAsOne on your phone". So I've opened the website, logged in, but nothing really has changed. I believe your manual for using the app should be more clear otherwise it is useless...
