Device: Forerunner 55 Same issue as Rob in November 2021. If I open Run app and acquire GPS then the widget picks up static data, but it does not reorientate if the device points in a new direction. Is there a fix? What is ABC

Horrible! Doesn't show correct orientation, I got this for camping as I sometimes get lost and forget my compass. I would give this five stars if it had the correct orientation. Do NOT recommend!

What kind of watch do you have because it's possible that if you don't have an ABC sensor that the watch returns the orientation via the gps which is not great as information. I would have to look at the features to remove them from the list. I just displayed the information returned by garmin.

Device: Forerunner 55 Issue: Initially I just had a blank screen. This fixed itself after I opened the Run app and waited for my device to acquire GPS signal. Then when I exited my Run app and re-opened the Compass it displayed as it should, only it does not actually move. I have tried opening and closing numerous times but it has not helped; although it did change direction once, but now it is frozen again. I tried the App and the Widget version of this but they both suffer the same issue.

Doesn’t work properly on forerunner 245 music. The compass app is getting started. The issue is that the compass doesn’t work or show where the north really is.

I just installed it on my Vivoactive 3 music which does have a built-in Compass funktion - and it Works just perfect. On installation it asks for Access to that funktion,which must be granted.

Doesn't work on Edge Explore, even though listed as compatible. Black screen only, and no menu options to delete this useless app. Cant delete through Garmin Exress on my PC, either. Don't download and install on the Edge Explore!

It work great but I can't give it five stars yet. There's a bug, I don't know why but, everytime I load the app, it reset all my widgets to the default layout. I have a Vivoactive 3. I was pulling my hair out trying to find why the watch didn't keep the widgets settings as I intended them to be.
