Name: Taliesin - Celtic/Art Nouveau 4 face PRO version
Author: IndigoMor

Beautiful Celtic/Art Nouveau style face telling the story of the legendary Welsh bard, Taliesin, across four scenes that change with the sun.

Each scene is set in the landscape of North Wales, framed by an ornate border of yellow Welsh poppies.

Dawn — Ceridwen's cauldron, and Gwion Bach receiving the three drops of Awen that gives him ultimate knowledge and wisdom.

Day — the chase. Ceridwen is angry as the Awen was intended for her son. She chases him. Gwion turns into a hare and Ceridwen chases him as a greyhound. He turns into a bird, she chases him as a hawk.

Dusk — After swallowing Gwion Bach Ceridwen gives birth to the infant Taliesin, He is so beautiful that she can not bear to kill him to wraps him and places him in the river in a coracle. In this scene he is found by Elffin at the salmon weir.

Night — Based on the 11th century poem Ymddiddan Myrddin a Thaliesin (The Conversation of Myrddin and Taliesin), the two great Bards talk beneath the Awen symbol, reflected in the water of a Welsh lake.

The face follows your watch's own sunrise and sunset times, so the scenes turn with the real sky wherever you are. Sunrise and sunset scenes each hold for ninety minutes either side of the moment itself.
