Name: Twelve Hours · Meridian Wheel
Author: jqka

A black-and-gold watch face inspired by the twelve traditional Chinese double-hours. Earthly Branches form the outer ring, the current period is highlighted, and an amber inner arc shows elapsed progress within the two-hour period.

Displays 24-hour time, Gregorian date and weekday, Chinese lunar date, the solar term on its calendar day, the current double-hour and traditional meridian association, and battery. The watch interface is Chinese.

Periods follow local civil time. Zi is 23:00–00:59; the calendar date changes at local midnight. Progress resets at each period boundary. Time and date share a single system sample.

Offline lunar and solar-term tables cover 2000–2099 and include leap months. Solar-term names appear only on their calendar day. Tables use China UTC+8 calendar dates and are indexed by the watch local civil date; no true-solar-time or precise overseas time-zone transition calculation. Outside the supported range, lunar date is unavailable.

Supports 40 SDK targets; see Compatible Devices for exact models. Monochrome Instinct screens use a simplified inset-aware layout and a text percentage for period progress. AMOLED always-on mode shows minimal dim time and restores the full face on wake. Uses system display updates with no seconds or continuous animation.

Screenshots are actual native screen captures from the official Garmin simulator running the production program.

Traditional meridian names are cultural display content only. The face does not measure meridians or physical condition and does not provide diagnosis or treatment advice.

Privacy: no separate account, advertising, analytics SDK or developer-server transmission. Offline calendar requires no network or GPS.
