Override Assistant — Home Assistant, Calendar & Commute
3rd party Complications publisher
v1.00 **3-day free trial, full version availlable in storefront**

Meant to be used with OVERRIDE watch faces.

Assistant publishes up to 4 live data fields as watch face complications,

so your data shows up right on your face instead of buried in a separate

app. Requires a watch face that supports 3rd-party complications.

WHAT IT CAN SHOW

--------------Home Assistant------------------

- status for doors, garage doors, windows, generic openings,

locks, and connectivity sensors

- Battery level tracking, with an alert threshold you set

- Up to 4 custom device_class fields for anything not listed above

- Up to 6 "helper" entities (input_booleans, etc.) for your own

automations — garbage day, alarm armed, whatever you've built

- Per-sensor filters: show open-only, closed-only, or both; ignore

specific entities by entity_id

*Requires your own Home Assistant instance reachable remotely, and a

long-lived access token (generated in homeassistant)

** This is a periodic status check based on your fetch interval, not a live

push

-------- Google Calendar----------

- Your next 3 upcoming events, right on your wrist

- Optionally skip events already in progress

- Optionally ignore all-day events

- Set how far ahead to look: anywhere from 3 hours to 7 days

*Requires a Google API key

----------Commute Time with traffic ------------

- Drive/transit/walk/bike time between two addresses, powered by

Google Maps

- includes live traffic data in transit time (at the time of data fetch)

- Two independent time-of-day slots (e.g. home→work in the morning,

work→home in the evening), each with its own addresses — shown on

one complication, whichever leg is current

- Choose driving, transit, walking, or biking

*Requires a Google Maps API key

EVERY MODULE IS INDEPENDENT

Turn on only what you use. Each one — Home Assistant, Calendar,

Commute — has its own on/off switch and its own fetch interval, so

you're never paying a battery cost for a feature you didn't ask for.

Disable anything you're not using.

BUILT FOR BATTERY LIFE

- When two fetches are due around the same time, Override batches them

into a single wake instead of waking the radio twice

- Turn everything off and Override does nothing at all — zero network

activity, zero background wake-ups

- Longer fetch intervals cost less battery. If your calendar events are

always an hour-plus apart, a 15-minute interval buys you nothing but

drains your battery faster — pick the longest interval you can live

with

ALSO INCLUDES

- On-device menu showing live status, last-updated time, and last

error for every module — no guessing whether it's working

- Manual "Refresh Now" to pull fresh data on demand, any time

- 4 configurable complication slots, so you decide what goes where
