Climbing Place records outdoor climbing, indoor routes, bouldering and via ferrata on your Garmin watch.

Pick the sport once. After that every launch is a single START. During a session you see time, ascent, heart rate, laps and grades. Indoor can detect routes from the barometer; via ferrata uses GPS for track and distance. Finish a pitch, pick a grade (UIAA, French, YDS, Font, or ferrata A–F).

The climb is also a normal Garmin activity (FIT in Garmin Connect): time, altitude, heart rate and laps.

Sessions stay on the watch. Pairing with a free climbing.place account is optional: show the QR in Settings, or paste a code in Connect IQ app settings. Finished sessions then land in your logbook. Without an account the watch still records.
