DIALFORM is a digital watch face designed for compatible Garmin watches with round color MIP displays. It keeps time clear and prominent while arranging the date, temperature, and selected personal data in a stable vertical layout for quick everyday glances.

Key features

- Large pixel-style time display
- Follows the system 12/24-hour format
- Optional colon and leading zero
- Weekday, month, date, and Garmin system weather temperature
- Fixed phone connection and battery status indicators
- Three configurable data positions
- Available data: recovery time, steps, daily distance, current heart rate, total daily calories, battery percentage, current altitude, or hidden
- Dark and light themes
- Six minute accent colors: blue, cyan, green, purple, pink, and orange
- Stable data positions; hiding an item does not move the remaining information
- Individually optimized layouts for five supported round color MIP display sizes

Usage notes

Temperature, distance, altitude, and related units follow your Garmin system settings. Weather information comes from Garmin system weather data. When weather data is unavailable or outdated, DIALFORM displays a clear fallback state.

Hardware color palettes vary between devices. On some lower-color MIP displays, certain accent choices may appear as the same hardware color. Please refer to the Compatible Devices list on this page for supported models.

Permissions and privacy

The Sensor History permission is used only to read the latest system altitude history sample when Current Altitude is selected for a data position. DIALFORM does not actively start GPS or continuous sensor sampling.

DIALFORM has no custom network service, user account, payment system, or telemetry. Settings, data-position records, and a limited weather cache are stored locally on the device. Installation and settings synchronization are handled by the Garmin platform.

Design inspiration

The early information hierarchy and overall composition of DIALFORM were inspired by SQUARE Pilot. The watch face was then redesigned around my own daily-wear needs, including its layout, bitmap typography, status indicators, data choices, and color system.

DAILFORM
