This simple widget allows the user to set a weekly calorie target and then monitor the progress that has been made towards it, on a simple single graphic.

The calorie target is configured by entering a user defined weekly value via the connect IQ Settings.
 
The widget totals the daily calories measured by the activity tracker during the current week, and then displays that total along with the % progress made towards achieving the target.

Should the user require to only count total “active” calories a connect IQ setting allows the BMR Sedentary calories to be removed from the calculated total. 

Via the connect IQ settings the BMR calorific value can be either automatically calculated based on the Harris Benedict Equation below.

Male BMR =  ( 66 + (13.7 * Weight  ) + ( 5 * Height ) - ( 6.8 * Age )) * 1.2

Female BMR = ( 665 +  ( 9.6 * Weight ) + ( 1.8 * Height ) - ( 4.7 * Age )) * 1.2

Or via a manual input of a BMR calorific value should another method for the calculation be chosen.

A multiplier of 1.2 is added the auto BMR calculation to reflect any influence of standard daily movements and activates.

A daily graph is also available by selecting the mode button from the progress display which shows the current weekly breakdown

The weekly elapsed time is also shown as a progress bar to help display if you are keeping on track to achieve your weekly goal

You can also configure all the widget settings such as start of the week day and your color preferences for the progress bars through the connect IQ or mobile app settings.
