The Runn Data Field allows any Garmin watch to connect to the Runn via ANT+ FE-C to show real-time incline, positive and negative elevation gain data from your treadmill workout. The data will be saved to the FIT file. Elevation gain and other summary data and graphs will be available in Garmin Connect.

For details on using the Runn with Garmin devices please refer to the page below.

- Adds support for Positive and Negative Elevation Gain. Use data field settings in Garmin Connect to select what data to display and the timeout between data displayed. By default incline, gain(+) and gain (-) are displayed switching every 5 seconds.

Doesn't work. When added as a data field, it just displays the words 'Runn Incline Data Field'. Tried all sorts of things and same result each time.

It works, once you solve the puzzle on how to pair with the watch. The answer to the mystery is buried on the NPE website. I used trial and error. A link to these instructions would be helpful for potential users. Elevation gain is only provided in meters. Leaving out the option to change this to meters is just a silly oversight. The developer must only care that it works for his/her personal use case.

The datafield is working. You have to be sure that the device number is set to zero in the parameters before the first launch. And also you have to deactivate the Runn trainer sensor. You just use the Runn accelerometer sensor.

Gutes Datafield. Leider funktioniert der Inclinewert nicht auf meiner Forerunner 235. Bitte fixen.

Pace works great and as advertised. Still no elevation data after almost a full year of use.

Records treadmill incline on my Garmin perfectly. Displays as a data screen on watch while running. Data is displayed on a graph on GarminConnect as a separate data field called Incline Percentage. Also calculates elevation gain. The Runn Sensor can also be calibrated to match your treadmill using the Configurez app if you wish.

As previous review, this is a great tool for speed/pace. But for incline it doesnt add anything, I would like that total elevation gain and loss is added to the stats. I use a garmin watch

The Runn sensor finally gets me reliable and accurate speed and incline data from my treadmill. This by itself is great. However, I find the incline data is not that well incorporated into my Garmin watch. Although the description says it will work over Ant+, I find incline is not transmitted unless I have the GymTrakr app open on my phone via Bluetooth. Even with that, the incline data is sort of bolted on the side. It displays in the data field and there is a graph of it in Connect afterward. However, it doesn’t integrate with any of the other stats. There is no elevation graph. The calories burned, VO2 max, Strava relative effort, etc are completely unchanged by the incline.
