Name: Range Card - Data-Rich Digital Face
Author: thesako

A digital face with thirteen data slots around a big, clear time.

Range Card is a data-rich face laid out like a military field data card. A light band across the top carries the date. Under the time sits a ruled grid of six cells, a small step-goal dial, a weather line with today's high and low, and a status line. Two thin gauges run up the left and right edges.

WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN
- Time with solid hours, outlined minutes and accent seconds (seconds in active mode only)
- Top band: date by default, or military date-time, your next calendar event, weather, training status or ISO week
- Status line (notifications by default) and weather line with high and low
- Step-goal dial with a progress ring
- 3 + 3 grid. Out of the box: heart rate, battery days, calories, floors, altitude and intensity minutes
- Footer (sunset by default)
- Edge gauges with their names printed along them (Body Battery™ on the left, stress on the right)

YOUR DATA, YOUR LAYOUT
Each of the 13 slots (status, band, dial, weather line, the six grid cells, footer and both gauges) is set from your phone, and most can be left empty. Pick from activity data (steps, distance, calories, floors, intensity minutes, weekly run and bike distance, recovery time, VO2 max, training status), health (heart rate, resting heart rate, Body Battery™, stress, Pulse Ox, respiration, sleep score), the watch itself (battery, battery days, notifications, alarms), the outdoors (altitude, pressure, temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind, rain chance, weather, sunrise, sunset, daylight left, moon phase, solar intensity) and time (ISO week, a second time zone, your next calendar event, military date-time). What each slot offers depends on the slot and on your watch.

Other settings: four colour themes (Original, Cyan, Lime, Mono); 12 or 24 hour time or follow the watch, with an optional leading zero; seconds on or off; date as TUE 14 OCT, 14 OCT TUE, TUE 10/14 or 2026-10-14; always-on style Rich, Minimal or Time only; metric, imperial or the watch's units; week starting Monday, Sunday or as the watch has it; a second time zone with its UTC offset and a 4-letter label; and on touch watches, touch and hold a field to open the matching screen on the watch.

ALWAYS-ON
When the watch drops to always-on, the face dims, shows less, redraws once a minute and shifts a few pixels now and then to protect the AMOLED screen.

GOOD TO KNOW
Weather comes from the forecast your watch last synced from your phone. With no recent sync, weather fields show "--".
Settings are made in the Connect IQ Store app or the Garmin Connect app on your phone. This version has no settings menu on the watch.
Fields your watch cannot provide (sleep score, Pulse Ox or solar intensity on some models) show "--".
Touch and hold works on touch watches (Venu® 4) only.
Health readings are for general information and are not meant for medical use.

Works on: Venu® 4 41 mm, Venu® 4 45 mm, Instinct® 3 AMOLED 45 mm and Instinct® 3 AMOLED 50 mm. The D2™ Air X15 shares the Venu® 4 45 mm profile, so it runs this face too.

Privacy: nothing is collected. The face only reads what is already on your watch. It asks for no internet, background or location access, and no data leaves the watch. It does use three permissions: Complications (to show data the watch already has and open the related screen), User profile (resting heart rate and heart-rate zones) and Sensor history (fallback values such as Body Battery™ and stress history).
