The match clock for referees, buttons first.

Referee+ keeps the time for football, basketball, handball and ice hockey, buzzes when it matters, and records the match as an activity in Garmin Connect.

THE CLOCK
• Football: the clock runs on and never stops. Stop / Play tallies the time lost and shows it as added time
• Basketball, handball and ice hockey: the clock counts down each period, with Pause
• Formats for each sport, e.g. adult 2×45, youth 2×30, FIBA 4×10
• Two short buzzes with one minute left; four buzzes and the backlight at the end of every period and break
• Ending a half takes two different buttons, BACK then START, so a sleeve can't end it by accident
• Worked out from the time of day, so the clock is still right after the screen goes off

THE RECORDING
• The match is saved as an activity with heart rate, and GPS for football
• A lap for every period and every break, with football's added time

PRO: THE EVENT LOG
• Goals, cards, subs and penalties with shirt numbers, logged with the buttons (or on the screen on touch watches)
• The score on the match screen; team fouls for basketball
• Penalty timers for handball suspensions and ice hockey penalties
• The event list with Undo, and the match report after full time
• The score and goals per period in the activity in Garmin Connect
• Pro is unlocked with a licence key, entered in the app's settings in Garmin Connect

Works on watches with buttons only, and on touch watches.
