A widget to display data from Open Weather Maps</p><p>Any questions or bugs, please use "Contract Developer" at the right.</p><p></p><p>You need an APIkey to use the widget. What’s New

Open the widget to full screen, then, based on the device you have, long press the middle left button or the bottom right button, and it will start GPS and get your current location. Use "Contact developer" if you have questions.

Really great and much more accurate than all weather apps on my phone. The only small issue I sometimes have is that the location tends to switch to “globe” and I then need to move to a room with gps reception to reacquire. Maybe it could just always show the last location instead?

If you live in AZ, Globe is a city east of Phoenix. I live in Phoenix, as there are times the closest reporting OWM station is in Globe.

App is not working. After installation, I see empty fields and no API key. I don’t see how I can solve this problem and can use the widget.

Read the description. You must create your own account at OWM, and you'll get your own API Key, which you then set for the widget using App settings on your phone or Garmin Expless. Any questions, use "contact developer".

On your watch, probably under settings, system, units, set the temperature units as you prefer. It may take a few minutes after that for weather to be requested in the new units.

I gave it middle of the road. The app looks great, but have to reach for my phone if I want to see it. It won’t update. It says No Data and I have to open my phone, and have the Garmin app displayed, not good enough for it to be open in the background. I will find something else. Good Luck

Read the widget description. To get an APIKEY you need to create an account at OWM, and then set it for the widget using App settings. Instead of leaving a poor review, with "Contact Developer" I would have assisted you as soon as I could.

Hi. The app was working alright in the beginning but now doesn't show other cities when I go into them. This also affects the psx-1 face for the watch. For example it is stuck on Bradbury tho I am in arcadia now and was in downtown Los Angeles not too long ago. I'd rather this higher but this could be improved.

This is a case where using "Contact developer" would have been best. The widget needs your current location (same with the watch face you mention). In the case of this widget, on a 5 button device, long press the middle left button which will start GPS and get your location. On a 2 button device, long press the lower button.

This very possible and easy On your watch, under System, there is usually a selection for units and Temperature Units, where you can select F or C. This widget uses the setting defined for the watch.

Not all cities/towns have a weather station that sends data to OWM, so what you'll always see is what's closest to you. I live about 10 miles from the downtown area (and major airport), but I get weather from a ranch that's not in the city about 2 miles south, for example

Press Menu (long press of middle left button on 5 button devices) and GPS will be started and you'll get the weather for your current location. On Venu/va4, it's a long press of the lower button.

Please use contact developer for things like this and state your device type, and so I can ask about things like your phone connection to both the device as well as the phone's data connection. Pressing "menu" will also retry the connection and the message you see could be 15 minutes old (by default the widget requests data every 15 minutes)

It's a standard setting on the watch itself. It's under setting-system-units-temperature units. This is a good example why just asking with "Contact developer" is the best solution, as it's a simple question..
