SkyPath HF ranks common Amateur radio HF bands for your Maidenhead locator and shows simplified propagation maps on Garmin.

• Eight bands: 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters.
• Best-bands glance: a clear two-line view of your top two enabled bands.
• Regional view: detailed coastlines, country and US-state borders, plus modeled landing markers within 500–1,500 km.
• DX view: highlights continents with qualifying sampled paths at 1,500–12,000 km.
• Enter a four- or six-character Maidenhead locator, or enable optional GPS on opening.
• Choose 100 W SSB or 5 W CW, select your enabled bands and explore hourly trends.

Press Up/Down to change bands. Use the menu to change the grid, goal, station profile or band settings. A paired phone, Garmin Connect and internet access are required for new forecasts. The glance uses cached results and background updates may be delayed by Garmin.

UNDERSTANDING THE MAP
Regional markers: small dot = poor, hollow circle = fair, filled circle = good. A white DX continent means at least one sampled path meets the threshold, not that the entire continent is covered.

Forecasts use VOACAP monthly statistical predictions with NOAA solar inputs, ideal 0 dBi antennas and the selected station profile. They are not live reception measurements, today's contact probability or guaranteed contacts. Check your local amateur-radio licensing and band privileges before transmitting.
