GYM TRACKER brings the numbers from your Garmin watch into GYM TRACKER, a free training app that runs in your browser on any phone or computer: https://aleksanderdudek.github.io/gym-training-tracker/ (the app interface is in Polish). No retyping, no account, no subscription.

WHAT IT SENDS
About every 30 minutes, while your phone is nearby, the watch sends the last 7 days of:
• steps, distance, floors climbed and intensity minutes
• bike rides (start time, duration, distance)
• heart rate (min, average, max), stress, Body Battery and average resting heart rate
Because each send covers a whole week, a day without your phone nearby fills in with the next send.

WHAT YOU GET IN GYM TRACKER
• Steps and rides count straight away towards calories, activity minutes (WHO weekly goal), XP and badges.
• If you also type steps by hand, the higher number counts — never both.
• Heart rate, stress and Body Battery are shown day by day, as they are, without medical interpretation.

HOW TO CONNECT (about 2 minutes)
1. Open GYM TRACKER in your browser: Ustawienia (Settings) → Zegarek Garmin (Garmin watch) → Połącz zegarek (Connect watch), then Kopiuj klucz (Copy key).
2. Paste the key into this app’s settings: Garmin Connect → your watch → Activities & Apps → GYM TRACKER → Settings.
3. Open GYM TRACKER on the watch once. The first data arrives within minutes. Press START (or tap the screen) to send right away.
Using GYM TRACKER on a second device? Choose “Mam już klucz” (I already have a key) there and paste the same key.

ON THE WATCH
The app screen shows the last send: “Sent 14:32”, “No phone nearby” (sending through Garmin Connect needs your phone within Bluetooth range), “Wrong key” (paste it again) or “Paste the key in Garmin Connect”. The glance shows the same at a look. The watch text is in English, or in Polish on a watch set to Polish.

PRIVACY
The watch encrypts the data (AES-256 and HMAC-SHA256) with your key before it leaves the watch. The key is created in your browser and the server never sees it: it keeps only the latest encrypted package, for at most 7 days, and cannot read it. Only your browser can open it. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no location, no GPS tracks. Without a key the app sends nothing.
Disconnect any time in GYM TRACKER (Odłącz zegarek): the package is deleted from the server at once. Data that already arrived stays in your history.

PERMISSIONS
• Background — sends about every 30 minutes without opening the app.
• Communications — sends the encrypted package through Garmin Connect on your phone to the GYM TRACKER server.
• Sensor history — heart rate, stress and Body Battery.
• User profile — activity history (bike rides) and average resting heart rate.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Sleep score is not included: Connect IQ gives it only to watch faces, not to apps.
• Runs and walks don’t become separate entries in GYM TRACKER: their steps are already in the day’s steps, so they would count twice.
• Works with Garmin watches on Connect IQ 3.2 or newer (see the compatible devices list) and with iPhone or Android, wherever Garmin Connect runs.
