Name: Berry Trail
Author: SamuelBerryTrail

Berry Trail is a mountain-themed watch face designed for Forerunner 965. A runner in blue and her strawberry bear companion share a miniature world of rocky paths and moss, from morning coffee to an evening trail run.

Trekking-pole hour and minute hands feature titanium-style facets, dark grips and fine highlights. A dot-matrix digital clock shows the same time above the scene.

FEATURES

• Analog hour and minute hands with a 24-hour digital clock; no seconds hand.
• Month/day, weekday, daily steps, daily total calories, battery percentage, weather icon and temperature in Celsius.
• Six character scenes selected by the watch's local time.
• At most one short character animation per local hour, lasting about three seconds. Seated scenes remain seated during the gesture.
• A simplified black-background display with thin hands and small time digits in low-power mode; animations stop in this mode.
• Free, with no ads or in-app purchases. No additional account or weather API key required.

DAILY SCENES

06:00–09:00 Morning coffee — standing with a cup.
09:00–12:00 Work — seated at a small desk.
12:00–14:00 Midday coffee — resting on a rock.
14:00–18:00 Hiking — backpack and trekking poles.
18:00–22:00 Trail running — a downhill running pose.
22:00–06:00 Night rest — seated in a dimmer scene.

Scenes follow this schedule; they do not detect your current activity.

HOURLY ANIMATION

If the watch face is awake at the start of an hour, its animation plays then. Otherwise, it plays the first time this watch face is visible and awake within that hour. The face does not wake the screen itself. Waking or reopening it again in the same hour does not replay the animation. If sleep or leaving the watch face interrupts a clip, it does not resume in that hour.

DATA AND DISPLAY

Steps and total calories come from the watch's system data. Total calories include resting and active calories. Weather uses Garmin's system cache; availability and updates depend on the watch and Garmin Connect synchronization. Unavailable weather shows a neutral icon and “—°”; other unavailable values show “—”.

Version 1.0.0 uses a 24-hour clock, Celsius, Chinese activity labels and English weekday abbreviations. It has no configurable settings. Always-on display and gesture wake depend on the watch's system, sleep and power-saving settings. Screenshots are simulator captures with sample data.

COMPATIBILITY AND SUPPORT

Forerunner 965 only. This is a third-party watch face.

Use Contact Developer on the store page for support. Include the watch firmware, watch-face version, the time of the issue and steps to reproduce it. Do not include passwords or unnecessary personal information.

DATA USE

Berry Trail reads the watch's local time, date, steps, daily total calories, battery level and cached system weather to display the watch face. The watch-face code does not transmit this data to developer or third-party servers and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking services.

It stores only the last local hour in which an animation was played, within its local application storage, to prevent repeated playback. It does not store activity history. Weather is supplied by Garmin's system; Garmin synchronization and data processing are governed by Garmin's own services and privacy policy.

When contacting the developer through the store, provide only the information needed to investigate the issue.
